The Rodneyite is a Quarterly on-line multidisciplinary academic publication geared towards research and writing on the Caribbean and its Diaspora.

Its main objectives are:

(1) To serve as a medium for discussion of ideas and the dissemination of information on the Caribbean and its Diaspora. While the emphasis is on scholarly presentations in the spirit of Rodney, we hope the publication will be accessible to the Caribbean people for use in their every day organization for survival, development, empowerment, and liberation.

(2) To provide a medium for both established and not so established Caribbean scholars and professionals, including students, to publish their works in any area of study.

(3) To deepen interest in the works of Walter Rodney, encourage work on Rodneyite issues such as Self emancipation, Racial Unity, Pan Africanism, Popular Culture, Governance, Race and Class, Underdevelopment, among others.

(4) To encourage a spirit of Caribbean integration, racial harmony, and gender equality.
